Matoi Catering provides services across London and the surrounding areas, including:​

  • Surrounding counties, such as Surrey and Hertfordshire

 

If your location is not listed or if you have specific requirements, please contact us. We strive to accommodate your needs and can often make arrangements for events in other locations upon request.

What’s included?

When you book with Matoi Catering, the following is included in our service:

​

  • Chef’s Fee: The cost of our professional chef who will prepare and serve your meals.

  • Meals: All dishes and courses as specified in your menu, freshly prepared and served.

  • Japanese Tableware: Traditional Japanese tableware for serving your meals, including items such as plates, bowls, chopsticks, and serving dishes.

    Please Note: For events with more than 10 guests, there may be an additional charge for Japanese tableware. This ensures we can accommodate a larger number of guests comfortably.

If you have any additional requirements or specific needs, please let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate them.

How far in advance should I book?
 

We recommend booking at least three weeks in advance.

Is a deposit required?
 

A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total cost is required at the time of booking. Additionally, 30% of the total cost must be paid no later than 1 week before the event, bringing the total prepayment to 50%. This 50% prepayment is non-refundable even if you cancel. The remaining balance, plus any additional charges, will be invoiced after the event. If payment is not received before the event, Matoi Catering reserves the right to withdraw services.

Is there a minimum charge for accepting an offer?

Yes, we have a minimum charge of £500 for accepting an offer. This ensures that we can provide the highest quality service and meet your event needs effectively. If your event does not meet this minimum charge, we may not be able to proceed with the booking.

Can you accommodate standing receptions or seated dinners?

Yes, we can cater for both standing receptions and seated dinners. We will recommend options based on the type of event.
